went to the new national library today.. I love that place!! (yes i'm a geek i know) I went crazy at the art section happily loading my arms with books on renaissance surrealism klee kandinsky chagall ernst michelangelo and all other geniuses who i adore.. time never passed so fast..

and ofcoz.. i didn't manage to get to the mega mountain of books i piled onto my lap like a happy kid in the toy store..

but rest assured i'll be back..

oh.. and klee and kandinsky kinda made me doodle..

running the OC Marathon..

A bunch of gals met at Dwi's for a night of OC Marathon!! & boy did we run good!! It started out strong with Gill Sof Coni du and i!! After about 4 episodes darling Bern joined us! We ate caramelized almonds, macademia, yummy jappy cheese crackers, green tea mochies and breezed through 2 more episodes.. then sent Gill and Sof off for their dinner appointments.. leaving bern con du & i for our yummy Spizza takeaway! After about 2 more episode.. (which was about 0030) bern had to leave and that leaves the last 3 survivors! and.. we continued til we completed our tenth episode!! TEN!! that's 10 x 45mins = 7.5hours of the ORANGE COUNTY!! (did i mention i caught each of these episodes atleast 3 times each!!) but how can i get enough of OC?!?! HOW CAN I??? HUH HUH HUH?!?!?! (dear friends i would understand if at this very point you're having seconds thoughts abt staying as my friend..=P heh) 10 episodes is nothing man!! We can dance through 100 of them man!! muahahahahahahhahhahha

had a terribly long bloody freaking day in lab.. rushed outta lab to drop by at some ward to visit my friend who came to ttsh to visit her friend who had dengue.. saw her for 5mins before rushing my ass down to farrer road for tuition.. ended up being 1/2 hour late.. tuition dragged for 2.5hours.. my head throbbing the entire time.. like major headache (i dun usually get headaches).. felt pukish in the bus coz was hungry.. finally reached home and felt like dying..

but i still went to zouk =P

Went to newsroom for the drinks with lijing, huijing, mildred and their friends before cabbing down to zouk!!!

was damn fucking fun!!!!

chocolate prata sucks.. really..

Supper with keng and kai at rivervalley! It's crazy.. like one hour after i had a huge dinner i went for supper.. *kills myself* wanna try a non-giam prata.. so ordered chocolate banana prata which totally sucked!!! So my motto now is..

DUN MESS WITH FOOD THAT'S ALREADY YUMMY!!

An Island-time with my sistarrrrr..

it's like how comfortable with the incline and the cushy seat and the blanket?!?!

it's fun to go catch a movie with my sis and do this kinda sisterly thingies together *smiles*

The island was not bad.. cool story-line with some parts were borderline cheesy *grimace* like the ear-splitting yelp released by mcgregor when the villian shot his back with some clippy clip thingy.. *help*

nontheless i had a wonderful wonderful time ;)

dim sum..

Caught dim sum dollies!!! It was fabulous!! Despite the fact that i went into a coughing fit in the middle of the first half.. like a MAJOR coughing fit.. couldn't stop coughing and was trying to mute my cough using my sweater the entire time with tears spilling down my cheeks.. THAT bad..

They distributed Singapore flags for us to wave at the finale.. cute huh *grins*

Johnny and the chocolate factory

I LLOOVVEEDDd the show!!!

*skip hop and jumps around like an oompah loompah*

Though it did receive some bad critiques.. i totally enjoyed the movie!!! I thought Johnny depp was so funny!! noone.. NOONE could've carried off the quirky willy wonka portrayed in the movie better than depp!! He's such a genius!! *SwwoooonZ*

And ofcoz the movie was made a million times better by the BakerZInn cheese cake and dark choc (personal fav!) that jaq bought! We managed to sneak them into the cinema.. the chocolate factory before our eyes made the cakes tasted uber delicious!!

And most importantly.. the show made me remember how much i loved the book =)

..and how i could miraculously remember the book so clearly! it's been like what.. more than 10years?!

it's always nice to imagine ourselves in a wonderland once in a while *smiles*

I busied myself with these this sunday evening..

Got a call from jaq in the middle of tuition and she said she was at holland v choosing beads for earrings!

Since my dad let me use the car.. i went down to meet her after my tuition!! =) How could i resist??? HOW COULD I?? heh.. (Though i did drove the wrong way and took the wrong roads and had to do a U-turn all the way at Minden.. ;P) filled our hands with pretty pretty beads and i couldn't wait til i'm home to make the earrings!
